How can I get involved?

It’s easy to become an ARCA volunteer. You can do it by filling out the form below and someone from the ARCA team will contact you and give you all the information you need.

If I filled out the form can I change my mind?

Of course. Filling out the form does not mean that you automatically become a volunteer and that you have obligations in this regard. After completing the form, the details of volunteering will be mutually agreed through interaction with a member of the ARCA team.

ARCA - The Romanian Forum for Refugees and Migrants ("ARCA") is a non-profit organization based in Bucharest, Austrului street, no. 23, sector 2. Arca is registered at the Register of Associations and Foundations under no. 146/A/2006, collects the minimum data necessary for the operation of this website.
We are committed to protecting the personal data of our website visitors, project participants, donors, employees and others who provide personal data to the organization.
This privacy policy applies to all personal data shared on ARCA websites, as well as to information submitted to the organization by participating in ARCA projects, by applying for or holding a job with the organization, by being a customer or by providing financial support to ARCA and its projects.

We only collect personally identifiable information that is voluntarily provided to the organization and that is necessary for specific non-profit purposes. The user's personal data is kept only for the period of time necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was obtained and in accordance with our data policy.
The purpose of collecting personal data:
Register to participate in an ARCA project or event
For this purpose, we collect information including your name, address, email address and telephone number, personal description and photograph, age, date of birth and gender and other information as appropriate.
We use this information to invite people to events, to participate in projects and to offer our services, as well as to provide information related to future events and projects.
Personal participation in an ARCA event or project
We may collect photographic images and video recordings of ARCA events and projects which may contain personal data of participants (including image, name and location)
This data can be used to illustrate the work of ARCA to donors, as case studies or to promote ARCA events.
Requesting a hard copy of a publication
If an individual requests a printed copy of a publication, ARCA collects personal information such as name, address, telephone number.
We use this information to send the requested publication.
Applying for a position at ARCA or requesting to be notified of job openings
Applicants for positions at ARCA, as well as individuals requesting to be notified of openings or wishing to be included in ARCA's database, will be required to upload resumes and may be required to update their information in the future. The personal information included in these resumes will be collected and stored by ARCA.
ARCA uses this information either to notify individuals of suitable vacancies or to consider applications for an existing vacancy.
Making a donation to ARCA
ARCA collects personal information, including the donor's name, address and email address.
We use this information to send the donor a transaction receipt as well as the information needed for tax purposes.
Transfer of personal data to third parties
ARCA will not sell your personal data to third parties. We will only share information if it is necessary to perform our agreement with you, is necessary to represent a legitimate interest on our part, or is necessary to comply with a legal obligation. ARCA does not voluntarily share the personal data provided to the organization with any third party institution without the specific consent of the data subject.
